  All in all, I believe that Vet Comp and Pen has the idea of the right business model. Unfortunately, I feel as if their business vision is to help vets, then they should focus on that vision and not stray from the path. I started with This organization and filing with my disability in 2015. Because of the fact that they lost my documentation and did not follow up accordingly, my original intent to file did not count. I followed up with the company after months of no communication to find that my case was dropped and I had to start the process over. Once I started they did not even put in another intent to file which they should have. After all of this they awarded me a 30% rating. After following up with the VA on my own accord, the VA scheduled me another test that led me to getting a 70% rating! Which is awesome right? So I am very blessed to receive what I did, but now Vet Comp and Pen is trying to collect off of that 70% rating for doing really nothing but filing the paperwork. That is ($7,000!!) when the intent to file would have given me a back pay of $20,000. Although appreciative of the work for that, I do not feel like I should be charged for my own efforts in getting that second appointment. They should be willing to own their own mistakes and work with Veterans if that is THEIR TRUE DESIRE.
